Hollow Forms - Tim and George - May 17,2025
About this event
We will discuss a few of the hollowing tools on the market and their uses. Provide instructions on the use of the club owned hollowing tools. We will discuss the designing and forms of creating a hollow form. You will turn a small hollow form to take home with you, similar to the pic.
Tools that will be used during the class will be the spindle roughing gouge, spindle gouge, bowl gouge, various scrapers, drills and maybe a skew and of course the hollowing tools.
If you have sandpaper in grits from 120 to 600 bring a sheet or two.,
Class fee Members - $50.00 Nonmembers - $80.00 Includes material costs ($10.00)
Class starts at 9am (setup at 8am), lunch 12 to 1pm and cleanup at 4pm.
Nonmembers may go to New Member Signup join, pay dues and then register for class as member. This will enter you in database and if you take a class again it will let you register as a member.
